However, AGF has said that they have identified some of those behind the chants and have sanctioned them with two years' ban from the stadium. – We are glad that we have been able to identify the people behind the chants in one of the cases, so that we can sanction them. But we are especially glad that it happens on the basis of our dialogue with our own spectators, who have helped us to exercise a strong self-justice that we value highly. It is absolutely necessary if we are to combat this evil – and we will, says AGF director Jacob Nielsen in a press release. – On a football stadium with many emotions, there often arises a rough tone that should be a certain room for, but I can only repeat that we take a sharp stance against, and have zero tolerance for, any form of racism. Therefore, we have chosen to sanction with two years' ban, he continues. The club also reports that they have discovered another incident with a Midtjylland supporter who also shouted racist chants. He is said to have shouted 'dra hjem, apekatt', 'jødesvin' and 'perkelelsker', while also directing Nazi salutes at other spectators. AGF says they have identified the man and informed Midtjylland about him.
