AGF celebrated their league title with a convincing 6-2 win over Viborg on Sunday. It was a big day for the club, which had been in contention for the title all season. Markus Solbakken, who has been ill with MS, returned to the pitch and played the final quarter and extra time. He was substituted in for Magnus Knudsen and played alongside Mads Hedenstad and Kristian Arnstad, who played the entire game. Arnstad notched an assist on the first goal. Runar Norheim also made an impact in the game, scoring two goals and assisting on a third. AGF finished seven points ahead of Midtjylland, while Nordsjælland were a further ten points back.
